PFI supports the industry with the tools for effective and detailed characterisation and quantification of several cellulose-based structures such as fibrils, fibre, paper, packaging and composites.

 

Advanced depicting techniques and analysis tools for 2D and 3D structural characterisation have been developed and applied. PFI has experience and expertise with methods covering a wide range of structure sizes, from the macro to the sub-nano level and based on:
